Dear Feline Friends Abu Dhabi...

I arrived in Adu Dhabi in May 1995, attended a Feline Friends Ball several months later and, upon returning from a trip to Oz arrived home to several messages on my answer machine from 'Mahesh' informing me that there was a kitten needing a foster home for 4-6 weeks. I accomodated and was intent on only having the kitten (Peaches approx. 5-6 weeks old) for a short period of time, well, rapidly grew to love her and 'she' decided to stay - endeared herself readily, me a person who thought that cats 'didn't do anything'! Anyhow, brought her back to the UK within 2yrs and spent a wonderful further 9yrs with her, she was sadly diagnosed with lymphosarcoma just over seven weeks ago and despite the wonderful advances in veterinary medicine, went to sleep a couple of weeks ago. I dearly miss her character, I have a British cat who is a sweetie, BUT, the arabic cats have something very unique. I would just like to thank your charity for introducing me to a delightful companion........

Yours sincerely
Linda Winter

Dear Linda,

Thank you Linda for your lovely e-mail it brought me to tears early this morning. We are sorry for your loss as we know it is like losing a member of your family. But FF must really thank people like you who give chances and wonderful lives to cats who otherwise have no hope at all.
So thanks once again for adopting Peaches giving her a great life and for letting us know that out of the many sad stories we (FF) bear there are happy ones as well.

regards,
Anita Signorino
